Freer

Design  |  Development  |  Social Media Templates

Freer is a new mobile app & desktop portal where users can ‘lend’ their personal goods/tools to other users for a period of time, with an emphasis on cutting down on what we really ‘need’, or whether this item can be rented for purpose.

The business needed a revised brand identity and a website, with the need to explain to users the concept of the app and its motive to reduce personal expenditure.

It was decided that a single page ‘scrolling’ website would be best suited to the cause, using the vibrant brand colours, iconography & large text headings to convey key messages of the business. Each section was designed to guide the user on the different features of the app, bit by bit as they scroll down, as each section fills the full height of the visible window, with each section also reachable from the trailing main navigation as the user scrolls down the page.

As well as designing & developing the website, Freer needed to create traction for a service that primarily was to launch in Jersey, then Guernsey, then further afield. I created a series of social media templates for both the ‘lending’ & ‘renting’ markets that the app was to service, and helped develop a rollout strategy for these concepts.
